Simply put, WorkFlowy takes a purist approach towards outliners whereas Dynalist tries to be more practical.

That means Dynalist has more additional features that we think are useful. We try to keep Dynalist simple, but inevitably they do add a bit of complexity. For this reason, if you put simplicity first, we recommend using Dynalist instead.
